Srinagar, February 3 : A Rajasthan tourist tragically lost his life after suddenly collapsing in the Kullan Sonamarg area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
According to officials, the deceased, identified as Vijesh Borana, a resident of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, fell unconscious while visiting the picturesque region of Sonamarg. Bystanders and local authorities quickly responded, rushing him to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kangan, where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
Following necessary medical and legal formalities, the body was transported to Jammu for further proceedings. The sudden demise of the tourist has cast a pall of sorrow over the region, emphasizing the need for adequate health precautions while traveling to high-altitude destinations.
