The sole aim is to make his parents happy so that he can get a TV of his own. Dhiraj’s mother Lachhandei is also happy because now children can study even at night. There is only one television in the entire village, that too given by someone.
Gora has been using kerosene lamp for all these while, but now the electric bulb has replaced the traditional lamp. Her husband doesn’t need to go to other villages for charging his mobile.
