Lava Prowatch has confirmed that it will launch on April 23 in India. Ahead of the launch, the company unveiled the design of the watch and revealed some of its key features. They also confirmed the availability of the smartwatch in the country.
The upcoming Prowatch will be Lava’s second fitness tracker to be launched in the country. Its first fitness product, the Lava BeFIT fitness band, was launched in India in January 2021.
According to previews on the official Prozone social media site (@ProZone_In), the Lava Prowatch’s circular display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The company has not yet disclosed information about the price of the smartwatch.
The Lava Prowatch Amazon microsite confirms the potential availability of the e-commerce site. The smartwatch will be launched in the country on April 23 at 12:00 PM IST. The corresponding landing page is available on the Lava Mobiles India website.
The Lava Prowatch is seen in several posters and previews with a metal case, round crown display and pushers. The package includes two belt options. The smartwatch is also said to have fitness tracking components such as a heart rate monitor. It may have a waterproof rating.
The Lava Prowatch is expected to come with interchangeable straps. It is expected to run on Google Wear OS. Like the Lava BeFIT tracker, the upcoming ProWatch may include SpO2 monitoring, sleep monitoring, notification reminders, and more.
The Lava BeFIT fitness bracelet has a color display with a touch button at the bottom. It supports GPS connectivity and is priced at Rs 2,699 in India.
