Udaipur, September 4 (Kiran News): The CBSE National Chess Championship 2025-26, being hosted at MDS Public School, Udaipur, witnessed thrilling individual events on Wednesday as talented players from India and abroad showcased their finest skills, raising the competitive level of the tournament.

Under-11 Category
In the Mixed section, Krithik Muthukumar (Velammal School, Alappakkam) impressed with his sharp play, while Ilan Shafique (Indian School, Bousher) and Kavish Agarwal (DPS Sector-45, Gurugram) also delivered strong performances.
In the Girls section, Maxim Karki Abirami Shriyukta (Indian School, Bousher) emerged victorious. Vanya Agarwal (Gurugram) and Aradhavi Mittal (Bal Bharti Public School, Pitampura) showcased commendable skills.

Under-14 Category
In the Mixed section, Pawan Kartikeya Verma Gunturi (Sanghamitra School) clinched the top spot, followed by Johann Jobsy (MES Indian School, Doha) and Pratham Nair (DPS Sector-45, Gurugram).
In the Girls section, Stuti Nayak (Indian School, Bousher) secured the win. Notably, Kiyana Parihar of MDS Public School, Udaipur, came very close to the top position with a stellar performance, earning praise for her determination, strategy, and composure against tough opponents. Her effort brought pride to both her school and Mewar.
Under-17 Category
In the Mixed section, Syed Abdul Khader (DPS Modern Indian School, Doha) emerged as the winner. Madhesh Kumar S. (Velammal School, Alappakkam) and Ajay Sandesh Parvatareddy (Sunbeam School, Annapurna Lahartara) also stood out.
In the Girls section, Shravanika A.S. (Velammal School, Mel Ayanambakkam) claimed victory. Yasshvi Krishna Bommi (GEMS Our Own English High School) and Priyanka Rajan (Indian School, Al Ghubra) were impressive performers.
Under-19 Category
In the Mixed section, Velava Raghavesh (Indian School, Al Seeb) secured the top spot, with Mrityunjay Mahadevan (Velammal School, Alappakkam) and Shaurya Dinesh Sawlani (Indian School, Muscat) making strong impressions.
In the Girls section, Shaiby Binoj (Indian School, Muscat) emerged champion, followed by Amulya Guruprasad (Velammal School, Alappakkam) and Aratrika Tyagi (SAJ School, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad).
