Bharat Dynamics Shares Rise on Rs 2,461.62 Crore Defence Orders

Mumbai, December 2 (Udaipur Kiran): Bharat Dynamics was trading at Rs. 1,540.00 on the BSE, up by 10.50 points or 0.69 per cent from its previous close of Rs. 1,529.50.

The stock opened at Rs. 1,560.00 and touched a high of Rs. 1,561.95 and a low of Rs. 1,530.30 during the session. So far, 83,702 shares have been traded on the counter.

The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of Rs. 5, touched its 52-week high of Rs. 2,096.00 on May 30, 2025, and a 52-week low of Rs. 908.90 on March 3, 2025. Over the last one week, the stock has traded between Rs. 1,460.50 and Rs. 1,561.95. The company’s current market capitalisation stands at Rs. 56,567.93 crore.

Promoters hold 74.93 per cent stake in the company, while institutional investors and non-institutional investors hold 13.73 per cent and 11.34 per cent respectively.

Bharat Dynamics has secured additional orders worth Rs. 2,461.62 crore from the Indian Army. The major orders include Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs) and Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAMs) under emergency procurement. The ATGM orders will be executed over a period of 42 months, while the SAM orders are to be completed within 12 months.

Earlier, the company had signed a contract worth Rs. 2,095.70 crore with the Ministry of Defence for the supply of Invar anti-tank missiles for the Indian Army.
