Mumbai, December 2 (Udaipur Kiran): NMDC was trading at Rs. 76.17 on the BSE, up by 0.77 points or 1.02 per cent from its previous close of Rs. 75.40.
The stock opened at Rs. 75.61 and touched a high of Rs. 76.37 and a low of Rs. 75.41 during the session. So far, 9,94,484 shares have been traded on the counter.
The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of Rs. 1, touched its 52-week high of Rs. 82.72 on December 10, 2024, and a 52-week low of Rs. 59.56 on April 7, 2025. Over the last one week, the stock has traded between Rs. 72.93 and Rs. 76.37. The company’s current market capitalisation stands at Rs. 67,028.82 crore.
Promoters hold 60.79 per cent stake in the company, while institutional and non-institutional investors hold 27.43 per cent and 11.77 per cent respectively.
NMDC reported an 11.09 per cent rise in its iron ore production at 5.01 million tonnes in November 2025, compared to 4.51 million tonnes in November last year. Sales volumes increased 4.25 per cent to 4.17 million tonnes in November 2025 from 4.00 million tonnes in the same month a year ago.
The company’s Chhattisgarh mines produced 3.58 million tonnes of iron ore with sales of 2.87 million tonnes during the month, while the Karnataka mines produced 1.43 million tonnes and sold 1.30 million tonnes in November 2025.
NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer under the Government of India and functions under the administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
