Udaipur, March 16 (Udaipur Kiran): An awareness rally and pledge programme were organised in Umarda on Monday on the occasion of National Immunization Day under the joint aegis of the NSS Cell of Sai Tirupati University and the Nursing College.

The programme began in the morning at the Nursing College, Umarda, with a vaccination awareness pledge ceremony. During the event, NSS volunteers and the unit in-charge took a pledge to spread awareness in society about the importance of immunization.
Following the pledge programme, an awareness rally was taken out in Umarda village. Through the rally, villagers were informed about the importance of vaccination, its benefits, and the need for timely immunization. Volunteers also raised slogans and shared messages to encourage people to remain aware about health and preventive care.
On the occasion, Venkateshwar College of Nursing Principal Dr. Vijay Singh Rawat, NSS Unit In-charge Vikas Kumar Dadhich, Head of Community Health Department Rupendra Singh Shaktawat, Dr. Suresh, Programme Officer Dr. Avantika, and several other dignitaries were present. They shared their views on the importance of vaccination and encouraged people to spread awareness in society.
