New Delhi : The Central Government has called an all-party meeting on Monday to finalise the suggestions, discussion and strategies related to the upcoming G-20 summit.
Forty political parties have been invited to the all-party meeting called by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will also be present in the meeting to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
India officially got the presidency of G-20, an organisation of 20 largest economies of the world, on December 1. Due to this, more than 200 meetings will be organised in the country. Next year’s G20 leaders’ summit is also a part of this sequence.
The G20 summit will be held in Delhi on September 9-10 next year. Heads of state of G-20 countries will participate in it. Other meetings will be held at different places across the country. According to the information, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress President Mamata Banerjee and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will participate in this meeting.
