Kyiv, March 13 ( /Sputnik) Volodymyr Zelenskyy claimed that all humanitarian corridors announced on Saturday in Ukraine worked out and thousands of people were able to take advantage of them and move to safer places. “All the humanitarian corridors that were agreed upon, they worked. We managed to take out 12,729 people today. The humanitarian cargo for Mariupol should arrive tomorrow afternoon,” Zelenskyy said in a video address. Meanwhile, the head of the Russian National Defense Control Center, Mikhail Mizintsev, said on Saturday that Ukraine had rejected multiple attempts by Russia to conduct humanitarian evacuation of civilians from Mariupol to Russia. The general accused Ukrainian troops of violating arrangements on humanitarian corridors and “hunting” those who try to flee eastward. Ukraine’s national security agency SBU has been tracking phone calls and conducting mass searches and arrests to stop people from going to Russia, Mizintse said. /SPUTNIK ACL0740
