Kota, May 6, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Several areas in Kota will face scheduled power cuts today due to maintenance work on electricity lines. The shutdown will continue from morning to afternoon in different localities as per the official schedule.
Power supply will remain affected in the following areas:
From 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, a one-hour outage will take place in Gyan Vihar, near Chaudhary Ki Kothi, near Silver Balls School, Samriddhi Nagar, Abhishek Chauraha, Rajawat Property, Pratap Town, Ganpati Nagar, Sharma Property, Krishna Residency, Lord Krishna School, Pratap Residency, Shri Giriraj Dham, Shri Nath Colony, near Gurukul School, Sogariya Shamshan, Jogendra Enclave, Om Vatika, Baldev Singh area, Chandra Homes Sogariya, Mahalaxmi Krishi Farm, Chandra Villa, and Sogariya agricultural areas.
From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, a two-hour power cut will affect areas around plot numbers 146, 147, 152, and 153 in RK Puram, along with nearby areas of RK Puram Jain Temple and Gautam Computer.
From 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, a three-and-a-half-hour outage will be observed in Nand Vihar, Gayatri Vihar, Kalyan Vihar, Amrit Nagar, Man Colony, Azad Colony on Borkheda Canal Road, and Ganesh Nagar.
