Illegal Hair Transplant Clinic Raided in Udaipur

Udaipur, May 6, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): The Medical and Health Department in Udaipur has taken action against Servik Aesthetic Clinic located in Shobhagpura for operating without a valid license. The clinic has been accused of conducting illegal hair transplant procedures and showing negligence during treatment.

Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Ashok Aditya said that the action followed a complaint by Dr. Sonal Joshi, a community medical student from Geetanjali Medical College. According to the complaint, she had taken a laser treatment package worth ₹25,000 at the clinic. It is alleged that her skin was burned during the very first sitting. When she discontinued the treatment and asked for a refund, the clinic operator, Dr. Swaleha Khatun, refused and allegedly blacklisted her.

During inspection, the CMHO team found that the clinic was being run without the required license. Dr. Ashok Aditya stated that the clinic operator holds a BDS degree but did not have authorization to run the clinic or perform laser treatments.
