Xiaomi is expected to expand its Redmi K70 gaming lineup with the launch of a new smartphone in China. The Chinese smartphone maker is expected to launch the Redmi K70 Ultra in its home market soon.
According to reports, last year’s Redmi K60 Ultra received China’s 3C certification. The latest certification also states that the smartphone will use MDY-14-ED and MDY-16-EB chargers that provide 120W fast charging power.

Redmi K70 Ultra: what to expect
GizmoChina reports that Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi K70 Ultra smartphone in China at the end of this month or in early June.
In a post on Chinese social media platform Weibo, tipster DigitalChatStation said the phone is rumored to be powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC. In comparison, last year’s K60 had an Ultra Dimensity 9200+ chipset.
Rumors also suggest that the upcoming Redmi K70 Ultra will feature a 1.5K 8T LTPO screen with a peak brightness of up to 5000 nits.
The Ultra version’s display is better than the K70 and K70 Pro, which use TCL Huaxing’s LTPS OLED with the new C8 luminescent material. This material allows the maximum brightness of the display to be up to 4000 nits. The smartphone display also supports a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone supports up to 4GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of internal UFS 4.0 memory. The highly anticipated smartphone model is equipped with a 5500 mAh battery compared to the 5000 mAh battery of its predecessor.
