Udaipur : Goverdhan Vilas police station has arrested a woman who killed her husband with a stick due to character suspicion and domestic violence. The wife had beaten her husband to death with a stick.
Station Officer Ajay Singh Rao said that the accused wife Babudi, resident of Khajuri Kheda Fala, has been arrested.
The SHO said that the complainant Nanalal, son of Dhanna Meena, had filed a complaint. It was stated that Kanhaiyalal had been working as a watchman at a private farmhouse located at Jogi Talab for the past 16 years. On February 19, Kanhaiyalal’s wife called me and said that her husband was lying dead in his room. After which I went to the spot and saw that the deceased was bleeding from his head. There were injury marks on the body.
Wife initially misled the police, later confessed
After the case was registered, the police interrogated the wife and she told the police that her husband had gone to the watchman that night. She had slept at home. Later when the husband came back and who killed him, she has no idea about it.
Initially, the wife kept misleading the police, but when the police questioned her sternly, she confessed everything.
The accused wife told the police that her husband suspected her character and used to beat her up after drinking alcohol. On the day of the incident, both husband and wife had consumed alcohol together. After that, there was a fight between the two.
During the fight, the wife hit her husband on the head several times with a stick. He died due to this. After killing her husband, she went to sleep in her room. The next day, she told her relatives that some unknown person had killed her husband.
