Sai Tirupati University NSS Cell Organises Seven-Day Special Camp

Udaipur, October 3, 2026: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell of Sai Tirupati University successfully organised a seven-day special camp from September 25 to October 1. During the camp, volunteers enthusiastically participated in various social, educational and public awareness activities. All activities were organised around the NSS motto, “Not Me But You”.

Camp Begins with Inauguration Ceremony

The seven-day camp began with an inauguration ceremony. On the occasion, PIMS Principal Dr Suresh Chandra Goyal spoke about the importance of social service in the relationship between doctors and patients.

Academic Director Dr Dileep Kumar L. spoke about the importance of NSS and its role in the personality development of students.

During the camp, several activities were organised, including a road safety awareness campaign in Umarda village, a cleanliness drive at Fateh Sagar, a health camp and rabies awareness programme at Government Upper Primary School, Dedkiya, a women empowerment awareness programme in Lakdwas and a donation drive for people in need at Ashadham Ashram.

These programmes aimed to create awareness among students about their social responsibilities, public awareness and the importance of community service.

Blood Donation Camp Marks Conclusion

On the final day of the camp, a blood donation camp was organised under the leadership of Dr Chandra Mathur. Students and NSS volunteers participated enthusiastically and spread awareness about the importance of blood donation.

The blood donation camp marked the successful conclusion of the seven-day special camp.

University Chairperson Ashish Agrawal said such programmes are regularly organised to connect students with community service and develop a sense of social responsibility among them.

Sai Tirupati University President Dr Prashant Nahar and Registrar Dr Devendra Jain appreciated the efforts of the volunteers and encouraged them to continue actively participating in social and public welfare activities.

Focus on Leadership and Community Participation

Various activities during the seven-day special camp were organised under the guidance of NSS Programme Coordinator Deepak Teli and Programme Officers Dr Avantika Gupta, Dr Suresh Dev and Anand Trivedi.

Representatives from various colleges of the university and NSS volunteers actively supported the camp.

The main objective of the special camp was to develop leadership skills, discipline, social awareness, a spirit of service and community participation among students.
