Vivo has launched the S19 series smartphone in China. The S19 series consists of two variants, the S19 and the S19 Pro, and both devices replace the previous generations S18 and S18 Pro that were launched in December last year.
The outstanding features of these two phones include the screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the maximum brightness of 4500 units and the main camera of 50 megapixels. The S19 Pro also has two IP protection ratings: IP68 and IP69.
Vivo S19 series: specifications
The Vivo S19 series features a 6.78-inch OLED display with 1.5k resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits of maximum brightness. Additionally, both the S19 and S19 Pro have a fingerprint scanner.
The Vivo S19 is powered by a 3rd generation Snapdragon 7 chipset while the S19 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chip. It’s worth noting that both phones use the same chip as their previous models.
Additionally, this phone comes with up to 12 bytes of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
As for the cameras, the Vivo S19 features a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the other hand, the S19 Pro is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes the same 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 50x digital zoom support. Both phones have a 50-megapixel front camera.
The Vivo S19 has a 5500mAh battery while the S19 Pro has a 6000mAh battery. Both devices support 80W fast charging and run OriginOS 5 based on Android 14.
Vivo S19 Price
Pricing for the Vivo S19 starts at 2,499 yuan (approximately Rs. 28,707) for the base 8GB + 256GB variant and 2,699 yuan (approximately Rs. 31,008) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 512GB configurations are priced at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 34,460) and CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 37,912) respectively.
The Vivo S19 Pro is priced at CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 37,912), CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs. 40,214), CNY 3,799 (approximately Rs. 43,666) and CNY 3,948 for the same amount of approximately Rs 699. The S19 Duo is available in blue, gray, peach (standard) and green (pro).
