Jailer 2’s Box Office Plummets to Lowest Daily Revenue on 14th Day
Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth, has dropped to its lowest daily box office earnings of ₹6.55 crore as it enters its second week.

Rajinikanth’s film Jailer 2 recorded a significant drop in earnings on its 14th day, bringing in ₹6.55 crore, marking its lowest single-day collection since its release.
Released on October 15, 2026, Jailer 2 has grossed ₹423 crore in India. It opened strong, earning ₹59.70 crore on its first day, and maintained a robust performance through its first week with a collection of ₹334.35 crore.
Midweek figures indicate a slowdown, as the film has seen a sharper decline in ticket sales. According to Sacnilk, this drop suggests that Jailer 2 is experiencing a significant decrease in viewership.
Jailer 2 remains the second-highest-grossing Indian film of the year, following Dhurandhar The Revenge. Its future box office performance may face challenges with the upcoming release of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, set for November 5.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 is a sequel to the earlier hit Jailer. In this action drama, Rajinikanth reprises his role as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, alongside Ramya Krishnan and Vidya Balan. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Following the film’s release, Dilipkumar expressed gratitude towards audiences for their reception, sharing a message on social media that highlighted the joy of seeing the audience celebrate its success.
