Changes Suggested for Indias Playing XI

Mumbai, October 29: Former cricketer Aakash Chopra has suggested a change in the Indian cricket team’s playing XI for the fourth T20 match against New Zealand. Following India’s success in the series, which they have already clinched by winning three consecutive matches, Chopra believes it is time to give young players a chance. He recommends replacing fast bowler Arshdeep Singh with Mayank Yadav in the upcoming match.
Chopra expressed his views on his YouTube channel, stating, “A change is definitely possible. Arshdeep Singh could be rested, and Mayank and Prince should be included in the match as we give opportunities to the youth in the remaining games.” He noted that Mayank performed well in the first match, taking one wicket for 40 runs in four overs.
With the series already secured, Chopra emphasized the importance of allowing young players to prove themselves in the remaining matches. He also mentioned that while he does not advocate for including spinners due to the pitch conditions, fast bowlers are essential for executing short balls effectively.
As India prepares for the fourth T20 match in Auckland, the team looks to maintain its dominance while New Zealand aims to make a comeback.
