Udaipur, February 13 (Udaipur Kiran): A total of 115 Scouts and 11 Rovers from Udaipur district, along with 27 Scouts from Salumber district, received the State Award at a state-level felicitation ceremony organised under the aegis of the Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides, Jaipur.
District CO Scout Surendra Kumar Pandey informed that the ceremony was held in the presence of Governor Haribhau Bagade. Scouts and Rovers from Udaipur and Salumber districts who successfully cleared the State Award Scout and Rover examination for the year 2025–26 participated in the programme.
Representing Udaipur were Scouts Maulik Garasia, Gagan Salvi and Manan Menaria from The Scholar Arena School, RK Puram Sector 09, and Mridul Puri Goswami from The Vision Academy School, Udaipur. Rover Virendra Singh Chundawat from Headquarters Open Rovers Crew, Udaipur, also represented the district.
The State Award ceremony was organised at the Scout Guide State Training Centre, Jagatpura, Jaipur, where the Scouts and Rovers were presented the State Award Scout and Rover Award by Governor Haribhau Bagade. Pandey said that Udaipur Scouts also took part in a cultural programme held on the occasion.
Senior Scouter and Training Counsellor Dr Bhagwati Lal Sahu of The Scholar Arena School led the Udaipur contingent as district in-charge. On returning to Udaipur under his leadership, the Scouts and Rovers were welcomed at City Railway Station by CO Scout Surendra Kumar Pandey, Scholar Arena School Director Dr Lokesh Jain, The Vision Academy School Principal Pratima Samar, Scouter Harishankar Sharma, Kuldeep Vaishnav, Rover Vishal Gupta, social worker Prashant Sharma, and parents, who congratulated the team on their achievement.
