Udaipur, March 29 – In a major crackdown under the ongoing special preventive campaign against illegal liquor in Rajasthan, the Divisional Excise Preventive Team of Udaipur seized 895 cartons of India-Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth an estimated ₹75 lakh. The raid took place on the Udaipur-Salumber district border at Rebariyon Ki Dhani, following a tip-off received by Dungarpur Excise Inspector Rahul Sharma.
Acting under the directives of Excise Commissioner Shivprasad Nakate, the team raided an abandoned house in the area where the massive consignment of illegal liquor was stored. A case has been registered and legal proceedings are underway.
