Two Rajasthan MPs to Receive Sansad Ratna Award 2025 for Outstanding Parliamentary Performance

Jaipur, May 18 — Rajasthan BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore, along with Pali Lok Sabha MP PP Chaudhary, have been selected for the prestigious Sansad Ratna Award 2025. The recognition comes in light of their exemplary performance in Parliament, including attendance, participation in debates, questions raised, and issues highlighted.

The award is presented annually by Prime Point Foundation, and this year’s selection is based on official records sourced from both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Secretariats, covering performance from the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha up to the Budget Session of 2025.

The award ceremony will be held in New Delhi in the last week of July.

17 MPs and 2 Parliamentary Committees Honored Nationwide

A total of 17 MPs from both Houses of Parliament and two Parliamentary Standing Committees have been chosen for the award this year. The selection committee was chaired by Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, Chairman of the National Commission for Backward Classes and a former recipient of the award.

The selected MPs represent:

  • Maharashtra – 7 MPs

  • Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan – 2 MPs each

  • Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Assam – 1 MP each

A Legacy of Recognizing Legislative Excellence

The Sansad Ratna Awards were instituted in 2010 by Prime Point Foundation and digital publication PreSense to promote transparency and accountability in parliamentary performance. The first award ceremony was inaugurated by former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in Chennai.

To date, 125 awards have been conferred across 14 editions, celebrating the work of India’s most diligent parliamentarians.
