Udaipur, July 23, 2025 – In preparation for the annual Hariyali Amavasya fair, which will be held on July 24 and 25 at Fatehsagar Pal and Saheliyon Ki Bari in Udaipur, the city police have announced a detailed traffic and diversion plan to ensure public safety and smooth movement of visitors. The event, a significant cultural attraction in Rajasthan, is expected to draw large crowds of men, women, and children over the two days, with July 25 exclusively reserved for women visitors at the fairground.

Umesh Ojha, Additional Superintendent of Police (City), stated that, as in previous years, special traffic arrangements have been made by Udaipur Police to facilitate pedestrian movement and avoid vehicular congestion near the event area.
Restricted Routes on Fair Days
To minimize traffic disruptions and safeguard pedestrians, the following roads will remain closed to vehicular traffic on July 24 and 25:

From Pahadi Bus Stand to Saheliyon Ki Bari

From Fatehpura Police Post towards Saheliyon Ki Bari

From Aravali Vatika to Kala Kiwad, Fatehsagar, and UIT

From Dewali Tiraaha to Fatehsagar Pal

From Ayurvedic Chauraha towards Kala Kiwad, Shiksha Bhawan, and Chetak Circle

From Shiksha Bhawan and Daitya Magri to Railway Colony and UIT Chauraha

From Rani Road via Dewali to Fatehpura and from Mahakaleshwar to Ayurvedic Chauraha and Ambavgarh for buses
Designated Parking Zones for Visitors
Visitors to the fair are advised to park their vehicles only at designated areas as follows:

Four-wheelers approaching from Fatehpura to be parked at Field Club

Two-wheelers to be parked along the wall near Fatehpura Police Post

Additional parking at Love Kush Stadium, Akashvani Gali, Swarup Sagar Pal near Home Guard Office, Panchwati Chauraha, and Neemach Mata Parking

Vehicles coming from Nathdwara direction to park near Celebration Mall on Link Road and 100 Feet Road
Revised Traffic Movement Plan
To manage incoming and outgoing vehicles during the fair, the following routes have been reorganized:

Vehicles from Jhadol-Mallatalai to pass via Ayurvedic Chauraha, Swarup Sagar Road, Aravali Vatika, Shiksha Bhawan Chauraha, Jhariya Marg, and exit at Hathipol

Vehicles from Badi side to reach Fatehpura via Gaurav Pratap Kendra and Badgaon Syphon; return route via Dewali Canal and back to Badi

Buses from Badgaon side allowed up to Syphon only

Roadways buses from Jhadol to follow Naya Kheda → Kaya Highway → Paras route

City buses and vehicles from Jhadol to access the fair area via Rampura and Mallatalai to Mahakaleshwar
Emergency Services and Public Advisory
Emergency services including ambulances, fire brigade, and essential responders will be exempt from these restrictions. Authorities have urged the public not to park vehicles on main roads and to cooperate with traffic personnel for the smooth conduct of the fair.
