(Kiran News) – Additional Superintendent of Police (City), Udaipur, Shri Umesh Ojha, informed that as every year, Krishna Janmashtami celebrations will be held at Jagdish Temple on 15, 16, and 17 August 2025. During this event, the following traffic and diversion arrangements will be implemented:

Traffic Diversions on 15 August 2025
On the occasion of Krishna Janmotsav, traffic diversions will be effective from 12:00 PM to midnight as follows:

Entry prohibited from Chandpol to Jagdish Chowk.

Entry prohibited from Rang Niwas to Jagdish Chowk.

Entry prohibited from Hathipol to Ghantaghar and onwards to Jagdish Chowk.
These arrangements will also remain in effect on 16 and 17 August 2025 during the Dadhimahotsav (Nandotsav/Matkifod events) from 12:00 PM until the conclusion of the programme.
Stal Mandir Traffic Arrangements on 16 August 2025
On 16 August 2025, Stal Mandir will host the Janmashtami Mahotsav organised by Swami Prayagdas Ji’s Asthal Ashram, Surajpol. Traffic arrangements for this location will be as follows, effective from 3:00 PM until the end of the programme:

Entry prohibited from the old control room at Surajpol Darwaza to Stal Mandir.

Entry prohibited from RMV Road and Amal Ka Kanta to Stal Mandir.

Entry prohibited from Dhanmandi, Mukherjee Chowk, and Tailiyon Ki Mata to Stal Mandir.
The general public is kindly requested to fully cooperate with the traffic police during the Krishna Janmotsav festival.
These restrictions will not apply to ambulances, fire brigades, or other emergency services.
