Tata Power Company reports 90% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Tata Power Company has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2022.

The company has reported a rise of 19.00% in its net profit at Rs 421.44 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 354.16 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 68.99% at Rs 5,550.53 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 3,284.46 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported rise of 89.73% in its net profit at Rs 883.54 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 465.69 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 41.98% at Rs 14,638.78 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 10310.21 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
