Udaipur, January 2 (Udaipur Kiran): In a major push to promote industrial development and entrepreneurship, the Rajasthan government has initiated the One District–One Product (ODOP) scheme under the Business Reform Action Plan 2024. Under this initiative, online registration of eligible units has commenced through the Rajasthan Single Sign-On (SSO) portal.

As part of the scheme, Marble and Granite products have been identified as the focus sector for Udaipur district. The initiative aims to strengthen local industries, promote manufacturing, and generate employment opportunities by providing financial and infrastructural support.
According to District Industries and Commerce Centre General Manager Shailendra Sharma, eligible entrepreneurs must submit necessary documents such as passport-size photographs, caste certificate, PAN card, production details, first sale invoice or latest sales bill, Udyam Registration, and product photographs while applying through the online portal.
Financial Incentives Under the Scheme
The Rajasthan Government is offering multiple incentives under the “One District, One Product” policy to encourage entrepreneurship and industrial expansion:

Capital Subsidy:

Up to 25% of project cost or ₹15 lakh for micro enterprises

Up to 15% or ₹20 lakh for small enterprises

An extra ₹5 lakh for SC/ST, women, and differently-abled entrepreneurs

Technology & Modernisation Support:

50% subsidy up to ₹5 lakh for technology upgradation

50% subsidy up to ₹3 lakh for quality certification

Marketing & E-commerce Support:

75% subsidy on stall rent (up to ₹2 lakh) for exhibitions

75% assistance up to ₹1 lakh for digital marketing and e-commerce onboarding

Additional support of up to ₹60,000 for e-commerce platform onboarding

These benefits aim to strengthen local enterprises, encourage innovation, and enhance market access for small and medium industries.
The District Industries and Commerce Department has urged eligible entrepreneurs to take advantage of the scheme and apply through the official SSO portal.
