Managing Director Naman Agrawal outlined future plans and appreciated the contribution of doctors, faculty members and staff towards the success of PIMS and the university.

After awarding degrees to all undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, Dean of PIMS Medical College Prof. Dr. Suresh Goyal administered the Hippocratic Oath and urged the graduates to remain dedicated to public welfare and serve humanity with ethics and commitment.

Chief Guest Dr. Rahul Jain, Principal and Controller of R.N.T. Medical College, Udaipur, congratulated the graduates and said that a degree is not merely a piece of paper but a symbol of society’s and humanity’s trust. He stated that several challenges have emerged in the medical field over time and graduates must begin their professional journey keeping these challenges in mind.

He said patients and their relatives come to hospitals with trust and hope for treatment, and doctors should take care of their mental and financial circumstances while providing treatment. He added that doctors represent hope and trust for patients and their families. According to him, when this trust weakens, frustration can sometimes lead to anger and even violence, making patience and composure essential for medical professionals.

Dr. Jain further said that patients and their relatives may not be concerned about the medicines prescribed or treatment methods used, as those are part of a doctor’s professional responsibilities. Instead, they remember doctors for their behaviour and service. He noted that the blessings received from satisfied patients and their families are the greatest asset in a doctor’s life.

Registrar Dr. Devendra Jain thanked all guests, members of the Board of Management and Academic Council, deans of constituent colleges, faculty members, staff, students, family members and members of the organising committee for the successful conduct of the ceremony.

The programme was conducted by Dr. Narendra Singh Goyal.
