RRP Defense Hits Upper Circuit on LOI from Kalyani Strategic Systems

Mumbai, September 16 (Patrika English News). Shares of RRP Defense locked at the upper circuit of ₹492.85 on Tuesday after the company announced receiving a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Kalyani Strategic Systems for supply of hand-held thermal imagers.

The stock opened at ₹492.85 and traded at the same level throughout the session, up by ₹9.65 or 2% from the previous close of ₹483.20. Only 90 shares were traded on the counter. With this surge, the company’s market capitalisation stands at ₹676.13 crore. The scrip also touched its fresh 52-week high of ₹492.85 today, compared with its 52-week low of ₹16.73 recorded on October 22, 2024.

As per the LoI, RRP Defense will supply 40 units of its Hand-held Thermal Imager PR110 MF to Kalyani Strategic Systems. This includes an immediate requirement of 14 units to be delivered by the end of FY 2025–26, while the remaining 26 units are to be supplied by the end of FY 2026–27. Each unit is priced at ₹7 lakh, taking the total contract value to ₹2.80 crore.

Formerly known as Euro Asia Exports, the company was renamed RRP Defense after receiving approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in June 2025. Headquartered in Gurugram, the company has a background in trading traditional Indian apparel and fabrics but is now expanding its footprint into defense equipment.
