Redmi Note 14 Pro Early Leak Hints at 50-Megapixel Main Camera, 1.5K Display

The Redmi Note 13 series was launched in India in January. The Redmi Note 13 series is expected to be followed by the Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+. While sub-brand Xiaomi remains tight-lipped about the new lineup, a Chinese tipster has revealed details about the Redmi Note 14 Pro. The upcoming phone may downgrade the camera. It can also have a 1.5K resolution display just like its predecessor.

Chat station Tipster Digital has posted some details about the Redmi Note 14 Pro on Weibo. According to the leak, the phone will have a “larger” 50-megapixel primary sensor, but may not have a telephoto lens on the back. Like the Redmi Note 13 Pro, the phone is said to have a 1.5K resolution display with a center notch. The display is said to be a dual “micro-bent” screen.

In comparison, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro has three rear cameras, with a 200 MP primary camera with OIS. This main sensor is paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The phone also has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The Redmi Note 14 series has already appeared in the IMEI database, suggesting a possible September launch schedule. The Redmi Note 14 Pro is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. It is said to be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G was launched in India in January this year at an introductory price of Rs 13 Pro 5G. 25,999 with a 6.67-inch 1.5K (1220 x 2712 pixels) AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and up to 12GB of RAM. The phone has a 5100mAh battery that supports 67W charging.
