Jaipur, May 17 — In a significant anti-corruption operation, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) team in Dausa has caught a middleman red-handed while accepting a ₹50,000 bribe on behalf of a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Mahuwa, district Dausa. The trap was conducted on Saturday and is part of an ongoing investigation into a corruption racket involving police officials.

💰 Bribe Demand in POCSO Case
According to ACB officials, the accused — identified as Vishnu Kumar Meena, allegedly demanded ₹2 lakh in total bribe from a complainant in exchange for delaying the arrest and providing help in a POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case lodged against the complainant’s son.

Meena had already accepted ₹1.5 lakh earlier, and was caught accepting the remaining ₹50,000 during the trap laid by the ACB Dausa team.

The trap was executed under the supervision of ACB Deputy SP Naval Kishore Meena.
🔍 Connection to DSP and Reader Under Investigation
Initial interrogation revealed that Vishnu Meena was collecting the bribe on behalf of Mahuwa DSP Rameshchand Tiwari and his reader Ramdev. Both names have now come under scrutiny as the ACB begins verifying their involvement in the bribery demand.
The accused was taken to Mehandipur Balaji Police Station for further questioning and will be presented in court following procedural formalities.

ACB Director General Dr. Ravi Prakash Meharda stated that the bureau received a complaint at its Dausa unit, alleging that the DSP of Mahuwa was seeking a bribe through his middleman. After preliminary verification, the ACB laid a trap and arrested Vishnu Meena while receiving ₹50,000 of the demanded ₹2.5 lakh.
The communication records between Meena, DSP Tiwari, and Reader Ramdev are being examined as part of the probe to determine the extent of official involvement.
