Preparations Underway for Grand Haldighati Victory Celebrations; Committees Formed at Pratap Gaurav Kendra

Udaipur, June 13 – To commemorate the 450th anniversary of the historic Battle of Haldighati, the Haldighati Vijay Sārdha Chatushshati Samaroh will commence on June 18 at Pratap Gaurav Kendra, Rashtriya Teerth, with year-long celebrations planned across India. The initiative aims to honor the valor and patriotism of Maharana Pratap, and to inspire national pride and historical awareness among the masses.

Celebrations Begin June 18 With Yajna and Victory Procession

The first phase of the grand ceremony will begin with a Rashtrachetanā Yajna at Haldighati, followed by a public gathering and Mahaprasadi. A Haldighati Vijay Sandesh Yatra (Victory Message Procession) will also be launched from Haldighati, carrying the sacred soil and victory flag through various parts of Udaipur city, culminating at Pratap Gaurav Kendra. The flag and soil will be greeted with reverence at multiple locations throughout the city, creating a symbolic connection with the legacy of Maharana Pratap.

High-Level Planning Meeting Held to Ensure Smooth Execution

A crucial planning meeting was held at Pratap Gaurav Kendra today to ensure smooth and grand execution of the event. The meeting was presided over by Shri Anurag Saxena, Director of Pratap Gaurav Kendra. Key discussions were led by Vice President Dr. Chandragupt Singh Chauhan and Treasurer Ashok Purohit, who shared details of the program’s structure and execution plan.

Several dedicated committees were formed during the meeting to oversee different aspects of the event, including guest coordination, stage management, media and publicity (social media, print, and posters), security, sanitation, hospitality, accommodation, transportation, and volunteer management. These coordinated efforts are intended to make the celebration not only smooth but also deeply impactful and inclusive.

Inspiring Youth with a Legacy of Courage and Patriotism

Organizers emphasized that one of the core objectives of the Haldighati Vijay Samaroh is to instill in youth a deep respect for Maharana Pratap’s sacrifice, valor, and commitment to self-respect. Through this, they aim to nurture a strong sense of nationalism, cultural pride, and vigilance in protecting India’s heritage.
