Udaipur, June 6 — In the peak of summer, residents of Udaipur continue to face prolonged electricity outages, with Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVNL) carrying out scheduled power cuts across various parts of the city. The company has attributed these power disruptions to maintenance work, though the frequency and duration of the cuts have raised public frustration.

The power cuts range from 5 to 7 hours in several areas, severely affecting daily life as temperatures soar. Residents have complained about the timing of these outages coinciding with working hours, school schedules, and peak heat periods.
