Mumbai (Udaipur Kiran). Norton Motorcycles, backed by TVS Motor Company, has confirmed that its upcoming Atlas adventure motorcycle lineup will be introduced in three trim levels. The update comes from the company’s Chief Technical Officer, Brian Gillen, as reported by MotorcycleNews. The rest of the details, including launch timelines and manufacturing plans, remain under wraps for now.

Norton recently re-entered the global motorcycle scene with four new products, including the flagship Manx and Manx R models powered by a 1200 cc V4 engine. Alongside them, the middleweight Atlas and Atlas GT were also showcased — models expected to cater to a broader consumer base, especially in markets like India.
According to early information, the Atlas range promises the “widest spread of torque in its category.” The road-focused Atlas GT will feature 17-inch Michelin Road 5 tyres, while the off-road-ready Atlas will get Bridgestone AX41 dual-purpose rubber paired with a 19-inch front wheel. All three variants will reportedly share the same electronic package but will differ in suspension setup, wheel configuration and engine-management tuning.
Feature-wise, Norton plans to position the Atlas series competitively, equipping the motorcycles with an 8-inch touchscreen TFT, lean-sensitive rider aids, backlit switchgear and projector LED lighting. Optional accessories such as engine guards, handguards and a three-piece luggage system will also be available.
The Atlas lineup is expected to strengthen Norton’s presence in the mid-weight adventure motorcycle segment globally and potentially in the Indian market.
