Kota, April 27 (Udaipur Kiran): A NEET aspirant was injured after being attacked by two fellow students at a hostel in Landmark City under Kunhadi police station area.

According to police, the incident took place at Gehlot Heights Hostel, where the injured student, Anurag Kumar, resides. He is originally from Bihar and had come to Kota for NEET preparation.
The victim stated that on April 25 around 5:30 pm, he was studying in his room when two youths, identified as Sameer and Shahid, entered and started assaulting him. He said there was no prior enmity, and the attack followed a minor argument.
During the scuffle, a glass object broke inside the room. One of the accused allegedly picked up a shard and attacked Anurag on the neck, causing serious injury. The room was reportedly covered in blood following the incident.
The injured student was rushed to a hospital, where he received five to six stitches on his neck.
Kunhadi Police Station in-charge Devesh Bhardwaj said that based on the complaint, both accused have been detained and produced before the court.
