Nandini Nagda Becomes First Student from MPUAT to Participate in Republic Day Parade

Udaipur, January 1 (Udaipur Kiran): Nandini Nagda, an NCC Air Wing cadet from Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, has been selected to participate in the Republic Day Parade (RDC) on January 26 in New Delhi. Her selection marks a proud and historic moment for the university, as she becomes the first student from MPUAT to be part of the prestigious national parade.

Nandini is a student of B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture at Rajasthan College of Agriculture, a constituent college of MPUAT. She is currently undergoing training for the NCC ‘C’ Certificate. Through consistent dedication, rigorous training, and successful performance in multiple selection camps, she secured her place in the final Republic Day Parade contingent.

This achievement is being regarded as a significant milestone in the university’s NCC history. Since the establishment of NCC activities at the institution, many cadets have aspired to participate in the Republic Day Parade, but Nandini Nagda has become the first to achieve this honour, bringing pride to the entire university.

Congratulating her on this achievement, Professor Manoj Kumar Mahla, Dean of Rajasthan College of Agriculture, and NCC Air Wing CTO Ram Narayan Kumhar extended their best wishes. They described her selection as a matter of great pride for the institution and expressed confidence that her achievement would inspire other students to actively participate in NCC and contribute to national service.
