Mumbai-Howrah Mail Derails After Collision with Freight Train; 2 Passengers Dead

New Delhi, July 30 (Udaipur Kiran) : In Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, at 3:43 AM on Tuesday, five coaches of the Mumbai-Howrah Mail (12810) derailed. The derailed coaches collided with a stationary freight train on the adjacent track. The accident resulted in two fatalities, with over 20 people reported injured.

The incident occurred between Rajkharsawan and Barabamboo. The injured are being transported to the railway hospital in Chakradharpur. Railway officials are present at the scene.

Aditya Kumar Chaudhary, Senior DCM of the Chakradharpur Rail Division, stated that relief trains and ambulances from the district administration have been dispatched to the site.
