Motorola Edge 50 Fusion may be on the market soon. The tipster claims that this intended model is under development. Key specifications of the phone have been revealed, including the processor, display, camera and battery. The Edge 50 Fusion is expected to follow the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion released in September 2022. Motorola won’t release the Edge 40 Fusion until 2023. It also looks like the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion could launch alongside the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, which is expected to launch on April 3.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), tipster Evan Blass revealed that a new Motorola phone codenamed Edge 50 Fusion and Cusco is coming soon. Available in three colors: Palette Blue (vegan leather), Peacock Pink and Tidal Teal. The phone has a 6.7-inch POLED display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
According to the tipster, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and 256GB of internal memory. The phone will reportedly have a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back, along with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera sensor. Probably IP68 rated for dust and splash protection. The source claims that the phone will come with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W fast wired charging.
To refresh our memories, the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It sports a 6.55-inch 144Hz Full HD+ curved PoLED display, a triple camera setup on the back, a 32MP selfie camera, and a 4400mAh battery that supports 68W TurboPower charging.
The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is available in Cosmic Grey, Solar Gold and Viva Magenta color options and is currently priced at Rs 34,999 in India for the single 8GB + 128GB variant.
