New Delhi, November 4 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Mold-Tek Technologies rallied nearly 3% on Monday after the company announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Beryl Engineering Inc., has signed an Equity Purchase Agreement (EPA) to acquire 100% stake in Beryl Project Engineering LLC, a Florida-based engineering services firm.

The stock was trading at Rs. 205.25, up Rs. 5.55 or 2.78% from its previous close of Rs. 199.70 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 195.60 and touched an intraday high of Rs. 208.30 and a low of Rs. 195.60, with 5,692 shares traded so far. The company’s market capitalisation stands at Rs. 593.82 crore.
The BSE group ‘B’ stock, with a face value of Rs. 2, has recorded a 52-week high of Rs. 230.15 (on December 11, 2024) and a 52-week low of Rs. 109.85 (on March 17, 2025). In the past week, it traded between Rs. 208.30 and Rs. 190.00. The promoters hold 49.68%, while institutional investors and non-institutional investors hold 0.83% and 49.49%, respectively.
Following the acquisition, Beryl Project Engineering LLC will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Beryl Engineering Inc. and a step-down subsidiary of Mold-Tek Technologies. Beryl Project Engineering, which has an annual revenue of around $5.6 million and a 40-member team, specializes in structural engineering and design for residential, commercial, and renovation projects. It also offers property inspections, reserve studies, structural integrity assessments, expert witness services, permit certifications, and wind mitigation services.
The acquisition marks a key strategic move for Mold-Tek Technologies as it looks to expand into the U.S. residential and engineering markets. The deal is expected to optimize project delivery costs, improve operational efficiency, and enhance profit margins through better utilization of its global design and drafting teams. It will also allow both firms to cross-leverage technical expertise, combining Mold-Tek’s advanced BIM and structural engineering capabilities with Beryl’s on-ground inspection and certification services for international clients.
