Shillong, April 25 (Udaipur Kiran): Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MEECL) has invited applications for a total of 13 Assistant Engineer posts across different disciplines.
Out of the total vacancies, 8 posts are for Assistant Engineer (Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering), while 5 posts are for Assistant Engineer (Computer Science/IT Engineering).
The offline application process began on April 22, and the last date to apply is May 15. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their application forms within the prescribed deadline.
Applicants must hold a BE/BTech degree in the relevant field from a recognised Indian university or institution approved by the Meghalaya Government, UGC, or AICTE. Candidates are also required to meet the specified eligibility criteria, skills, and relevant work experience.
The minimum and maximum age limits will be as per state government norms, with relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved category candidates as per rules.
The selection process will include a written examination, personal interview, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs 83,000 to Rs 1,96,100, along with additional benefits and allowances.
Candidates will be required to pay an application fee based on their category, with Rs 800 for General candidates and Rs 400 for ST/SC candidates.
To apply, candidates need to visit the official MEECL website, download the application form, and fill in the required details. The completed form, along with all necessary documents, must be sent in an envelope to ‘Director (Corporate Affairs), MEECL, Lumjingshai, Short Round Road, Shillong – 793001’ on or before May 15, 4 PM.
Candidates are advised to ensure timely submission, as applications received after the deadline will be rejected. A copy of the application form should also be kept for future reference.
