New Delhi, July 25: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released a new video thanking the youth of the country, especially Generation Z, for their support and feedback on his previous video. The latest video, shared on Thursday, has set a record with over 306 million views as of the time of writing.
In the video, Modi expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thanks friends, I had the opportunity to connect with you late last night. I appreciate the responses and positive suggestions you provided on my video. Your love will continue, and our connection will grow even stronger. Thank you, friends.”
Along with the video, he posted, “Thank you to the youth who watched my video yesterday and shared their feedback.” The video was released on Instagram around 11 PM on Friday.
Modi’s previous video addressed youth, students, and parents, and it quickly gained immense popularity. Following the release, his Instagram account saw an influx of nearly 1 million new followers overnight.
According to research and official data, Modi is the first and only politician in the world to surpass 100 million followers on Instagram. Recently, a video by popular YouTuber Aishospeed garnered over 300 million views in 24 hours, but Modi’s video has now taken the lead with more than 306 million views in the same timeframe.
The record for the most viewed Instagram reel in the first 24 hours was previously held by Aishospeed’s encounter with BTS during the FIFA World Cup 2026 final, which received 300 million views in just one day.
