Chandigarh, March 28 : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday slammed the Central government’s decision to apply central civil services to employees of the Chandigarh administration. on Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday announced that the changes will be notified on Monday and will be implemented from April 1. Mann tweeted: “Central government has been imposing officers and personnel from other states and services in Chandigarh administration. This goes against the letter and spirit of Punjab Reorganisation Act 1966. Punjab will fight strongly for its rightful claim over Chandigarh.” DB MR
