Aurangabad/Mumbai, April 13 : Maharashtra has reported 113 new Covid-19 cases and four deaths in the past 24 hours, a health bulletin said on Wednesday. With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 78,75,324 and the death toll goes up to 1,47,820. Meanwhile,127 cured patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 77,26,790. The state’s recovery rate significantly came down to 98.11 per cent and fatality rate 1.87 per cent . Presently, 714 active patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals , the bulletin added. Meanwhile , five positive cases were reported across the two district of Marathwada region of Maharashtra including 4 cases in Beed district and single case in Aurangabad district while in rest of six district no one case was reported ,the bulletin further added.
