International Cricket Betting Network Exposed, 52 Billion Turnover Revealed, Dubai Operator Connected to Arrested Suspect

Patna, July 28 (Udaipur Kiran) – The Bhuj Cyber Crime unit has exposed an international cricket betting network, revealing a turnover of 52 billion rupees in one year. The betting operations were being run from Patna and Dubai. The police have arrested one suspect from Patna and have taken him into custody until August 1.

The Bhuj Cyber Crime team received information that a suspect involved in an online cricket betting network had come to Patna. Acting on this tip, the team arrested Bharat Chaudhary from Patna. Initially, the police did not realize the magnitude of the network. However, upon checking the suspect’s phone during preliminary interrogation, they discovered the network’s staggering turnover of 52 billion rupees in one year. Bharat, along with his associates, was involved in this large-scale betting operation. The police presented Bharat in court and obtained his remand until August 1.

Border Range IG Chirag Kordia stated that Cyber Crime PI received information that Bharat Chaudhary, a resident of Kamalpur village in Radhanpur Tehsil, Patan district, had returned to Patna from Dubai. Bharat was connected with Mahadev Betting, operated by Saurabh Chandrakar, and other betting applications. Acting on this information, Bharat was apprehended in Patna. Upon examining his mobile phone, transactions amounting to 52 billion rupees were found. The investigation suggests that several other suspects are involved in this network. The Bhuj Cyber Cell team has registered an FIR against Dilip Prajapati, Atul Agarwal, Saurabh Chandrakar, Sing Ravi Kumar, and Ronak Prajapati at the Patna B Division police station.
