Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar took to social media to commend the team’s achievement, noting that no other team has won the T20 World Cup back-to-back. He praised the team’s exceptional performance and their unique brand of cricket, stating, “Well done, Team India. Jai Hind!”
Virat Kohli also expressed his pride on X, highlighting the unprecedented nature of the victory. He commended the team’s explosive cricket throughout the tournament and their resilience in tough situations, congratulating all players and management for their efforts.
Former cricketer Yuvraj Singh shared his thoughts on X, emphasizing the character and determination required to defend the World Cup title. He praised captain Suryakumar Yadav and the team’s performance on the grand stage, particularly noting the contributions of Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, and Abhishek Sharma in the final.
