Cairo, March 7 : The Indian men’s 25m pistol team of Anish Bhanwala, Gurpreet Singh and Bhavesh Shekhawat on Monday won a silver in the Rapid Fire Pistol team event after losing the gold medal match 7-17 to Germany at the ISSF Shooting World Cup. Czech Republic won the bronze after registering a dominating 16-0 win over Indonesia. In the second qualification stage, India finished on top with 568 points while Germany were placed second with 567. In the first qualification stage, Germany topped with 881 points followed by India at the second place with 862. India have won a total of six medals including 3 golds, 2 silvers and a bronze to go on top of the standings replacing Norway, who have won three golds, 1 silver and two bronze medals. BAV MR
