Mumbai, November 26 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) were trading higher on the BSE following the signing of a new hotel project in Jammu & Kashmir. The stock was trading at Rs. 727.65, up by 1.35 points or 0.19 per cent from its previous close of Rs. 726.30.

The scrip opened at Rs. 725.95 and moved between a high of Rs. 734.95 and a low of Rs. 724.15 during the trading session. A total of 1,668 shares were traded so far.
The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of Rs. 1, touched its 52-week high of Rs. 894.15 on December 30, 2024, and a 52-week low of Rs. 672.55 on November 7, 2025. Over the past one week, the stock moved between Rs. 717.00 and Rs. 740.95. The company’s current market capitalisation stands at Rs. 1,03,383.88 crore.
Promoter holding in the company stands at 38.12 per cent, while institutional investors hold 45.68 per cent and non-institutional investors hold 16.21 per cent.
Indian Hotels Company has signed a new hotel under its Gateway brand at Patnitop in Jammu & Kashmir. The project is a conversion property with plans for future expansion. The upcoming 78-key Gateway Patnitop will offer facilities including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a bar. The resort will also feature two swimming pools, including a heated pool, a fitness centre, treatment rooms, and a banquet hall spread over 4,000 square feet for social and corporate events.
With this addition, IHCL will have a total of 12 hotels in Jammu & Kashmir, including six under development.
