
Udaipur : A worker died on Tuesday after being electrocuted by a high-voltage line while putting up a hoarding on Debari Highway in Udaipur.
The deceased worker has been identified as Usman (42), a native of Bihar who was living in Udaipur. He was working for an advertising company and was putting up a hoarding with his colleague.
According to police, Usman was working on the hoarding when he came into contact with the high-voltage line. He was electrocuted and fell to the ground, suffering serious injuries. His colleague rushed him to MB Hospital in an unconscious state.
Doctors at the hospital pronounced Usman dead on arrival. Police have taken the body to the mortuary and will conduct an autopsy once Usman’s family arrives.
