Udaipur : A fire broke out late Sunday night at the Fashion DG Studio in Delhi Gate due to a short circuit. The incident occurred around 11 PM, causing substantial damage to the studio and two vehicles parked in a nearby garage.
A passerby alerted the fire brigade, and two fire trucks were dispatched to the scene. However, extinguishing the fire proved challenging as the studio’s shutter was live with electricity, causing firefighters to receive electric shocks. The electricity supply was eventually cut off, allowing firefighters to enter from a different route and contain the blaze.
The fire caused millions of rupees worth of damage to the studio and the parked vehicles. It’s worth noting that the studio had been sealed by the Municipal Corporation in February following a land dispute with the Waqf Board.
Local police authorities, including the Bhupalpura and Dhanmandi police stations, were also on the scene to assist with the situation.
