Exciting Features Expected in New Generation Hyundai Creta
Mumbai, October 25: Hyundai is currently testing its new generation Creta, which is set to hit the market with several significant upgrades. Here are five impressive features that the company may offer in this much-anticipated model.
The Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular mid-size SUVs in the Indian market, known for its excellent features, powerful engines, and multiple powertrain options. The new generation Creta has been spotted during testing, and it is expected to come with major enhancements. If you are a Creta fan considering purchasing the new model, here are five exciting features to look forward to.
1. Larger Touchscreen Display
The most notable change in the new Hyundai Creta’s cabin could be the introduction of a larger infotainment touchscreen. The company may equip it with its new PLEOS infotainment system, which has been showcased in some international models. The screen size is expected to exceed 15 inches and may include over-the-air (OTA) updates, allowing software upgrades without a service center visit.
2. Enhanced ADAS Features
The current Creta features a Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) with 20 features. The new generation is expected to improve upon this, potentially incorporating features from the new Kia Seltos, which boasts 28 ADAS features. Expected additions include navigation-based smart cruise control, front collision warning, and junction crossing assist, although the company has not officially confirmed these details yet.
3. Head-Up Display and Wireless Connectivity
A head-up display (HUD) is anticipated in the new Creta, providing drivers with essential details like speed directly in their line of sight. Additionally, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay may be included, addressing the current lack of these features in larger touchscreen variants.
4. Hybrid Engine Option
The new Creta is also expected to offer a hybrid powertrain option. With Kia announcing a hybrid version of the Seltos for 2027, Hyundai may follow suit with a hybrid variant of the Creta. Initially, a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with a hybrid system was discussed, but a 1.6-liter hybrid powertrain could also be on the table. This has yet to be officially confirmed.
5. Electronic Boss Mode
During testing, an electronic boss mode was observed in the new Creta, allowing rear passengers to adjust the front seats electrically for more legroom. This feature is already available in the electric version of the current Creta.
As Hyundai prepares to launch the new generation Creta, these features are sure to excite fans and potential buyers alike.
