Affordable Broadband Plans: Jio, Airtel, and BSNL Compared

Mumbai, October 25: The demand for wired broadband and fiber internet is rapidly increasing in India. If you are considering installing Wi-Fi at home, it’s essential to compare the most affordable broadband plans offered by Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and BSNL. All three companies have a significant presence in the country’s broadband market and offer competitive plans tailored for users.

Reliance Jio’s ₹399 Broadband Plan
Reliance Jio presents its ₹399 broadband plan as its most economical offer. This plan provides speeds of up to 30 Mbps and includes unlimited data, allowing for 3.3TB of data each month along with free voice calling. However, users will need to arrange for a landline phone instrument separately. GST will be applicable in addition to the plan’s cost.

Bharti Airtel’s ₹499 Broadband Plan
Bharti Airtel’s ₹499 broadband plan is the most affordable option in its home services lineup. This plan also offers 3.3TB of data monthly, with a speed of 40 Mbps. Users receive a 12-month subscription to Adobe Express Premium and Google One, but no significant additional benefits are included. GST is also applicable on this plan.

BSNL’s ₹499 Broadband Plan
BSNL offers a competitive ₹499 broadband plan, which is available in most areas. This plan provides speeds of up to 60 Mbps and includes 3.3TB of data monthly. Additionally, it features IFTV services, offering access to over 500 free-to-air TV channels. Note that BSNL has even cheaper plans in some circles, primarily targeted at rural areas, but these are not universally available.

All these telecom operators allow users to opt for plans with longer validity. Keep in mind that GST will apply, making the final price slightly higher than what is displayed. Each telecom company offers unique benefits, and BSNL’s plan stands out for its speed and entertainment options.
