Jailer 2 Breaks Records with Over 600 Crores in 11 Days
Mumbai, October 25: Rajinikanth’s much-anticipated action thriller, ‘Jailer 2’, has made a remarkable impact at the box office, crossing the 600 crore mark in just 11 days. The film has shown impressive growth, particularly on its second Saturday, indicating strong audience interest and engagement.
According to reports, ‘Jailer 2’ opened with a stunning collection of 59.70 crores on its first day. By the tenth day, it had earned 24.15 crores in India, a significant increase of 66.6% from the previous day’s earnings of 14.50 crores. As of now, the film has grossed a total of 373.19 crores domestically, with a worldwide collection reaching 666.30 crores.
The storyline of ‘Jailer 2’ continues from the previous film, where Muthuvel Pandian (played by Rajinikanth) confronts a dangerous syndicate of idol traffickers. The film also features cameo appearances from notable actors like Hrithik Roshan and Mohanlal, adding to its appeal. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, who helmed the first part, this sequel introduces new stars such as SJ Surya, Vidya Balan, and Mithun Chakraborty.
