
Ratlam : The engine of the Darshan Superfast Express (12494) derailed near Ratlam on Saturday morning. There are no reports of any casualties, but rail traffic on the track has been disrupted. Relief teams have reached the spot.
According to the information received, a boulder fell on the track due to rain between Ratlam and Dahod section. Due to this, the engine of the Darshan Superfast Express train derailed. The accident took place at 6:49 am on Saturday at kilometer number 600/25.
Due to the accident, the Delhi-Mumbai rail route has been disrupted. Trains running on this route have been stopped at different stations. As soon as the information about the accident was received, a medical train and an accident relief train were dispatched from Ratlam. An accident relief train from Vadodara has also been dispatched to the spot. Efforts are being made to restore rail traffic.
